Medical Alarm Concepts(TM) and Micro Key Solutions(TM) Announce Their Alliance for the Development of Their Proprietary Monitoring Software for Home Healthcare/Hospital Industry

Sep. 8, 2010 (GlobeNewswire) -- PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. -- Medical Alarm Concepts Holding, Inc. (OTCBB:MDHI), manufacturer of the MediPendantTM, the first fully-monitored medical alarm system that allows you to speak and listen directly through the pendant, announced today that it has formed an alliance with software industry leader Micro Key Solutions™ in the development of a private-label, proprietary monitoring software solution for the home healthcare/hospital industry to be known as Medi-Monitoring™.

The Medi-Monitoring ™software will be designed to be used for various healthcare providers such as hospitals and large healthcare companies, as well as small privatized nursing companies, and in-home patient service based businesses. Many of these providers see the benefits of personal emergency response systems (PERS), and want to provide their patients with the additional service of PERS, which gives their patient added safety and security when they are discharged and return home. The patient now has some peace of mind, knowing that they can get help immediately if needed.

With the Medi-Monitoring™ solution, the healthcare company will have a customizable software and hardware package that will enable them to provide their own monitoring services to their patients. Medical alarms will be monitored directly by trained hospital staff members, instead of an independent call center operator. The result is that the hospital does not have to depend on third party information services for their patients, but instead can now monitor patients/clients themselves.

Medical Alarm Concepts(TM) Announces the Beginning of Australian and Middle Eastern Sales and Distribution

Aug. 18, 2010 (GlobeNewswire) -- PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. -- Medical Alarm Concepts Holding, Inc. (OTCBB:MDHI), manufacturer of the MediPendant™, the first fully-monitored medical alarm system that allows you to speak and listen directly through the pendant, announced today that it has successfully begun marketing its MediPendant™ product in several regions of Australia and the Middle East.

An initial shipment was sent to one of India's largest home healthcare marketing agencies last week. In addition, negotiations have been finalized with one of Australia's largest providers of personal emergency response systems.  Medical Alarm Concepts™ is currently negotiating with several other Australian and Middle Eastern distributors as well.  "The medical alarm space is booming right now, but there is limited availability outside of the United States, especially for a product with this type of advanced technology.  We have been working on developing relationships with this type of distribution partner for months.  We are happy to finally see some of our efforts in this area come to fruition," said Jennifer Loria, VP of Corporate Development for Medical Alarm Concepts.  "Our plan is to position this product for worldwide distribution and sales coverage as soon as possible," added Ms. Loria.

The MediPendant™ is already being successfully marketed through several distribution partners in the United States, Canada and Bermuda.

Medical Alarm Concepts(TM) Announces the Development of Proprietary Monitoring Software for Home Healthcare/Hospital Industry

Aug. 17, 2010 (GlobeNewswire) -- PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. -- Medical Alarm Concepts Holding, Inc. (OTCBB:MDHI), manufacturer of the MediPendantTM, the first fully-monitored medical alarm system that allows you to speak and listen directly through the pendant, announced today that it has partnered with one of the industry leaders in software development to develop a private-label, proprietary monitoring software solution for the home healthcare/hospital industry.

The software is designed specifically for hospitals and large, nationally-based healthcare companies. Many of these facilities provide their patients with personal emergency response system hardware to take home with them when they are discharged from the facility. This gives the patient some peace of mind, knowing that they can get help immediately if needed.  Until now, however, the monitoring services for medical alarms typically had to go through an independent call center/central station. With the Company's solution, however, the hospital and/or healthcare company will have a turnkey solution that they can provide to their patients.  Furthermore, the medical alarm will be monitored directly by trained hospital staff members, instead of an independent call center.  Importantly, the result is that the hospital does not have to depend on third party information services for their patients, but instead can now monitor any activity for themselves.

"This is a great opportunity for Medical Alarm Concepts™. Providing these organizations with the ability to offer their patients a full-service medical alarm is a new take on an old idea," said Steve Beeferman, Director of Home and Healthcare Services. "In addition, this creates an entirely new platform for both sales and revenue growth.  We are very excited."

Implementation of this software package into several hospitals is expected to begin in the first quarter of 2011.
